Navicular rehab from the start Dauber
- After his navicular diegnosis Dauber was shod with a Eggbar with built in wedge, no pad and no frog contact to the ground.

Dauber is a 14 year old roping horse, diagnosed Navicular recently and given to me as a last resort for him. Ill talk more later about why this kind of situation happens but for now lets just say he is a lucky boy. I’m trying to upload videos and pix but im having a hard time, been so long ive forgotten how this site works. No worries ill figure it out but I will be blogging on Daubers rehab for the next few months so keep checking back for updates. Dauber is now in his 3rd week and doing well, when I pulled his shoes he was 3 out of five on the navicular test with the testers, he is now pain free at the test in both front feet. That doesnt mean he’s good to go, it only means he is ready to start the toughening of his feet and the decontraction of his heels associated with his long-term shoeing schedule.
